Louis Tomlinson has opened up about his initial “envy” about his former bandmate’s success and the possibility of a One Direction reunion in a recent interview with The Sunday Times.

Louis, who is about to release a documentary film titled, All Of Those Voices, has revealed that the end of One Direction was not easy for him.

He told The Sunday Times, “I was mortified, I was absolutely gutted.”

“I was a bit bitter, I suppose because it just felt like another loss to me,” he continued.

Although Louis has gone on to have success on his solo ventures with albums, tours, and now his documentary.

But he isn’t opposed to reuniting with the lads in the future, he said, “Getting back together at some point is hard to imagine right now,” later saying, “I’d be surprised if we lived out our lives and didn’t have a moment where we had a reunion, or whatever you want to call it. I’d be up for that.”

It might seem like something in the far future at the moment as they are all so busy with their own careers, especially Harry Styles who seems to be touring constantly for the past two years while having multiple movies and a new album come out.

Speaking of Harry’s success, Louis said, “We were always aware that Harry fit that mould, and it’s been an amazing thing to watch.”

He said that he might have felt a touch of “envy” when he was “trying to find [his] feet”, but has learned not to compare his success to others.

“These days I’m learning to elevate myself in those moments when I have to. I didn’t know how to do that before, but now? Now I know I f***ing can,” he shared.

Louis recently announced his documentary on Instagram writing, “This has been something I’ve been working on for years, I’m really excited to finally put it out into the world. I’ve said it a million times but I’m lucky enough to have the greatest fans an artist could wish for, and as you always go above and beyond for me, I wanted to share my story with you in my own words.”

All Of Those Voices is out on March 22nd in cinemas.
