Have Carrie and Samantha made up?
Our favourite on-screen fashion icon has finally spoken out regarding Kim Cattrall’s cameo appearance in season two of And Just Like That.

She said: “We’ve been really thoughtful about the ways in which we’ve, you know, approached characters that hadn’t been around.
Continuing on she revealed: “The ways we have invited actors back has been really fun and exciting and certainly nostalgic, but I think more than that, it’s been a lot of joy.”
In an interview with the Evening Standard Kristin Davis revealed that they were never going for anything more than a cameo of Samantha to satisfy fans.
This comes after many fans of the show began speculating that this was the start of a larger ploy to bring the actress back to her role as the sex positive icon that is Samantha Jones.
She said: “I don’t know that there’s a closure or resolution necessarily, those are like, kind of big things that I don’t know that we were going for. We just thought that, you know, it would be fun for the fans to have a little bit of Samantha because we know that they miss her and she’s a great character.”

She continued on saying: “We know people miss her and Carrie misses her… and wouldn’t this be great to have a little bit of her – that’s what we wanted. I think maybe hopes have been lifted, possibly higher than that. And that was not our intention. So I hope people aren’t disappointed.”
Season two of And Just Like That, the sequel to Sex and the City will be streaming on Sky Comedy and NOW from June 22nd.
