Here Are All The Looks From The British Fashion Awards Last Night

Gowns, so many gowns.

The British Fashion Awards (which recognise the best of British fashion talent) were on last night, and they certainly brought out the stars.

There were no great scandals this year – you may recall Rita Ora causing a fuss by having a ‘date night’ with Conor McGregor last year – but we’re more concerned with the style.

Meghan Markle presented an award to the woman who designed her wedding dress

Givenchy’s Clare Waight Keller was named British Womenswear Designer of the Year, and didn’t know that Meghan would be the one to give her the award. Cute!

The Duchess wore a sleek black velvet Givenchy gown, accessorised perfectly with gold bracelets. Stunning, and note that against-royal-protocol dark manicure!

Kendall Jenner went full ass out

Judging by this cheeky Instagram Story, she’s anticipating the backlash and DOES NOT CARE A JOT. Good woman Kendall.

Lana Del Rey wore a Gucci cape, because why not

We’d wear this cape every day if we could.

Our Saoirse also trotted out in Gucci

That’s a perfect party dress if we ever saw one.

Model Kaia Gerber brought back the Alexander McQueen ‘bumsters’

Yes, there are pants beneath her melting dress, and they’re ‘bumsters’, the arse crack-displaying trousers first shown by Alexander McQueen in the early 90s. She just about managed to avoid flashing everyone:

The entire Gerber-Crawford family looked hot, actually

Imagine being that good looking? Can’t relate.

Rita Ora donned a Prada… nightie?

On closer inspection, it seems to be shorts and a pyjama top. Not sure which is preferable. Neither?

Victoria and David Beckham looked chic in black and navy

Forever a gorgeous couple. VB was wearing herself, of course.

Winnie Harlow was moulting, but fashionably

This dress was “entirely hand-embroidered” and we appreciate that, but that’s always what these feather-hemmed dresses look like! Moulting chickens.

Erin O’Connor looked like an incredible high-fashion witch

https://www.instagram.com/p/BrOenp0BUbs/

‘High-fashion witch’ is the ultimate aesthetic.

And Rosamund Pike was like a high-fashion priestess

Also a great aesthetic.

Kate Moss leaned into green

Looks great on you, girl.

And Georgia May Jagger leaned firmly into pink

LOVE IT.

Rochelle Humes went for a dramatic pants-train

We didn’t think we’d like a dramatic pants-train, but we do.

Uma Thurman looked utterly regal

Ugh, yes.

And RuPaul’s Drag Race winner Aquaria looked better than everyone, TBH

As she usually does.

Who was your best dressed?
