Millie Bobby Brown Has Explained That Weird Video Of Her Pretending To Apply Her Skincare Line
The Stranger Things star posted a 'skincare routine' that seriously confused fans.
Stranger Things’ Millie Bobby Brown recently joined the ranks of celebrities with a beauty line, launching a skincare range called Florence by Mills.
The brand is aimed at teens like Millie herself, and the actress has said she thinks “every young person deserves to have a good start to their skincare routine and beauty routine”.
To promote Florence, Millie filmed a video of her nighttime skincare routine using the facial mist, cleanser and moisturiser from the range.
However… it looks like she’s not actually put any of the products on her face, and seems to be miming rubbing them into her skin:
This isn’t the first time we’ve seen this happen – remember Shay Mitchell’s ad for eye makeup remover? But it’s no less confusing.
After fans queried the video, Millie shared a post explaining what was going on. Kind of.

She said she’s still getting to know the beauty space, and has never thought of herself as an expert.
“I thought doing a quick video replicating my personal process for that night was okay, but that’s not what was conveyed,” she wrote. “I understand, I appreciate all of your feedback on this journey, please keep sharing your thoughts and I will too!”
Given that Millie is literally 15 years old, that is entirely fair. Lesson learned!
