Pleather Isn’t Just For The Matrix Anymore – It’s this Season’s Hottest Trend

Who would have we could be this excited about a fabric?!

This Autumn we are taking style notes from the ultimate trend setter, that of course being none other than Ross Geller.

Sparking trends with his infamous leather trousers/date night scene, in a strange turn of events, leather, or rather pleather, is now the it fabric of the season.

Whether it is full-on head to toe Neo vibes, or a subtle leather staple piece, the daring look has been on every catwalk, and sported by every influencer this season, and is slowly but surely trickling it’s way into the high-street.

The likes of River Island and Penneys are adapting the trend, making it both wearable and affordable for us mere mortals.

However, you can breathe a sigh of relief as the trend will not require you to lubricate your legs with moisturiser, à la Ross. The material has far evolved from the skin-tight trouser look we are all conditioned to. It now comes in the form of joggers, shirts, dungarees, and trenches.

Here are a couple of our favourite pleather pieces to whet your appetite for the trend.
