YouTuber Emma Chamberlain has spoken, and once more, the fashion world has fallen at her feet. This time? Long skirts.

Yes, it’s time for the return of the maxi skirt, but not as you know it.

A viral TikTok sound of Chamberlain declaring her summer uniform as  “a long skirt, scrunched up socks, a pair of loafers, and then a basic tank top” has been doing the rounds on the video app and fans are going wild for it!

But this trend goes beyond our TikTok FYP.

In truth, the maxi skirt has been on the up and up for a while now, with loads of the most fashion-forward celebs jumping on the trend.
