If you're a sensitive skinned gal, you'll love this.
I’ve often found some cleansers can be pretty harsh on my skin.
For a while I would only use Clinique’s Take The Day Off cleansing balm to remove my makeup, and then go straight to my other skincare bits, like toner and serums. However, I wanted to include a cleanser in my skincare routine to ensure every trace of makeup is removed from my skin and for when I’m running low on my #1 cleansing balm.
I toyed with Soap & Glory’s cleansing milk, which I do like, however I didn’t feel it did the job of 100% removing my makeup. Then I was gifted my first Glossier products from STELLAR Social Media Manager Jen, including the Milky Jelly Cleanser.
This is the only cleanser I’ve tried that is gentle enough to use on your face and around your eyes to remove makeup. It’s also the first cleanser I’ve tried that you can use completely alone to remove your mask, no micellar water or makeup wipes needed.
The creamy gel formula is made from the same gentle cleansing agents found in contact lens solution, so it’s perfectly safe to use on your eyes, as you can see the gal on the Glossier website doing.
The cleanser can be used on dry skin to remove makeup or also on wet skin in the morning. Instead of making my skin tight like other cleansers have done in the past, this one leaves it feeling soft and healthy thanks to a blend of five skin conditioners in the formula.
Although I don’t have sensitive skin myself, our Social Media Manager Jen says the Glossier Milky Jelly cleanser doesn’t dry out her sensitive skin or strip it of its natural oils.
A little bit of it goes a long way, so you only need one pump – and it doesn’t foam up like most other cleansers, so it leaves your skin feeling smooth and hydrated.
The Glossier website only delivers to the US, Canada and UK, but you can get it delivered to you here in Ireland through Parcel Motel. Excluding delivery costs, the cleanser itself will set you back $18, or roughly €15.
