The Kardashians’ Irish Hairdresser Styled Their New Calvin Klein Ad – Here’s How To Get The Look

Ballinteer native Andrew Fitzsimons has been a favourite of the family for years.

Ever wondered who was behind the Kardashian/Jenner clan’s gorgeous, ever-changing hair? Well their team of stylists includes an Irish face: Ballinteer native Andrew Fitzsimons.
Andrew worked for stars here at home before moving to the US a few years back – there he landed jobs with Adele, Mariah Carey, and later the Kardashians (he’s a particular favourite of Kourtney’s).
His latest job with our fave family? Only the latest Calvin Klein campaign, featuring the whole lot of them in their jeans and undies.
The Dubliner worked on both Kourtney and Kylie’s hair for the shoot, and told us how it all went down:
It was an amazing day. It was so much fun to have all the Kardashian/Jenner girls together on set along with all of their glam teams who are some of my besties! It’s always great to catch up with Mario Dedivanovic and Jen Atkins, Kim’s hair and makeup team.
We shot outdoors in the hills of Malibu and I was doing Kylie and Kourtney’s hair. Obviously, Khloe was pregnant and Kylie had just given birth to baby Stormi so everyone was in such great form.
If you were wondering how to recreate the looks at home, Andrew has given us the suss on exactly that. “For Kylie and Kourtney’s look I went for a very ‘lived in’ wavy vibe. The campaign style was boho and natural,” he says, and sounds pretty easy to do yourself.
First, I used a tiny bit of Thick & Full Volume Mousse by Alterna and blow dried the hair. Next, I used a 1.5 plate GHD curling iron to create some natural, loose waves. I then sectioned off the hair into pieces and waved random sections of the hair, concentrating on the middle and avoiding the roots and the ends. I added some texture to the look with the Moroccanoil Dry Texture Spray, and finished it all off by adding some Bed Head After-Party Smoothing Cream to perfect the hair.

We dunno about you, but we’re eager to get home, strip down to our bras and pants and recreate those gorge Kardashian/Jenner waves. Thanks, Andrew!
