Y2K Fashion Trends To Look Out For In 2023
The trends you need to hop on!
Y2K fashion is back trending since late last year and it is expected to take over most fashion trends in 2023 too.
Many people have been digging deep into their old wardrobes and finding some staple pieces to break out once again for that authentic Y2K era look.
Myself included, I dragged out a pair of my mom’s low-waisted bootleg jeans, last weekend! Before buying new, I recommend having a look in the attic, you might just find some gems up there.
I have been on the lookout for some trends to keep an eye on for the coming year and here are a few for you to check out.

Baguette bags

Smaller baguette style bags are really finding a comeback. The cross-body bag was a huge trend over the past few years, but it’s time to reintroduce a smaller, classier bag that fits all the essentials. The iconic Carrie Bradshaw was a big fan of these, so of course, we need one.
Skinny scarfs

Layering and Skinny neck scarfs are another Y2K trend making an appearance this year already. Think Hannah Montana but make it fashion.
Chokers

Choker necklaces also fit into the Y2K vibe and we see them pop up in the trend cycle every few years, so picking one up could be handy for any 00’s inspired outfit!
If you’ve been watching Laguna Beach on Netflix you’ll know this is VERY Kristin Cavallari.
