However, we’re here to help, giving you all the tips and tricks on how to travel overseas smart and hassle-free this summer, helping you to get planing that dream vacay.

So, what are we bringing?

From a camera, to travel adaptors and chargers, SPF to a folder with travel itineraries and documents printed (we made a similar list here), it’s safe to say there are some key items on the list, but one that’s also super important to factor in is a nifty way to manage your holiday money for total peace of mind. As we all know, losing or misplacing a card or cash is an absolute mare, so here’s a handy solution.

An Post Money is the perfect thing to avoid all of those holiday money issues. With their currency card, 24/7 helpline and emergency cash available if you lose your card (though you get two cards just in case!)

Plus, if you’re heading away and want some cash in your pocket too, An Post offer commission free cash on a number of currencies which you can get in your local post office.

No extra charges and no stress! Just like your regular cards too, use it at ATMs, shops, chip and pin and contactless. You can also keep an eye on what you’re spending online so you can shop until you drop (within your own budget) and also top it up online to fund your spending addiction. Top it up online or on the An Post Money Currency Card app.

So, how do you apply?

The application is super simple, all you need to do is…

  1. Download and fill out the application that’s available online and drop it into a participating Post Office with proof of ID and address.
  2. Once that’s all sent off you’ll receive your card and then you can get topping up online or in your local Post Office. You can also pop into your local Post Office, fill out an application and you’ll get your cards there and then!
  3. It is a hassle-free way to go about spending on your holidays.

Enjoy that vacay guys and dolls and happy spending.
