Plus, when we can expect them to return.

Thanks to streaming, we’ve all got a little too used to having instant access to our fav shows. So when they finish up for the season, we’re left with a hole in hearts and an emptying schedule. And thanks to covid some of these shows haven’t returned for nearly three years.
We’ve decided to get organised and compile a list of the shows we miss and when we can expect them to return.
The Marvelous Mrs Maisel
Season 3 of The Marvelous Mrs Maisel came out back in 2019, and due to covid was unable to return to our screen. So, we’re all feeling pretty deprived of Suzie and Midge’s mad antics. And unfortunately, it doesn’t look like we’ll be seeing the 4th season anytime soon. No release has been announced, although they did finish filming in the summer. The best estimate for when it’ll be released is early 2022.

Bridgerton
When Bridgerton burst onto our screens last year, we quickly became obsessed with corsets and grand balls. Only for the show to fly by and leave us desperate for more than 8 episodes. Luckily we are getting more as season 2 has been confirmed. And we actually have a fair amount of info about the 2nd season here.
Return date: Early 2022

Emily in Paris
Emily in Paris is back, baby…or is coming back, and we don’t have that long to wait. Season 1’s finale left us dying to know how things would work out with Emily and *a certain someone*, we’re not about spoilers here, so we can finally breathe a sigh of relief knowing there is a date for when we’ll have our answers.
Return date: 22nd of December 2021

Upload
Upload was one of the best comedies we’ve seen in years, and so naturally, we’re dying to see more of this show. A 2nd season was confirmed just one week after the show’s premiere and began filming in January 2021, wrapping in April. No return date has been confirmed, but considering when they finished filming, late 2021 or early 2022 seems likely.

Killing Eve
Killing Eve is currently filming its 4th and final season. While we’re devastated to see it end, we can’t wait to watch the conclusion. Filming was delayed due to covid a few times. Still, things are finally underway, meaning we can get back to watching Eve, Villanelle and the chaos that will presumably ensue.
Return date: April or May 2022

Derry Girls
It’s crazy to think the last time we saw our favourite Derry bunch was in 2019. Yep, we’d say we’re long overdue for some Dery Girls content. Unfortunately, it will be another while before season 3 will arrive. Filming just began this September, and no return has been announced, but the best estimate would be early to mid-2022.

Ginny & Georgia
Considering Ginny and Georgia only came out this year, it might be a little worrying how much we’re begging to see the 2nd season. What can we say? That cliffhanger was explosive. Season 2 just began filming, so it will be a while yet before we get to see it. The best guess for the release date would be around mid to late 2022.

The Crown
The Crown has been a TV staple for years now, but season 4 gained the most attention, cleaning up at all the awards and launching the career of Emma Corrin. We’re obviously excited for season 5, which will follow the Windsor family in the 90s. However, it will be a while before we can tune in.
Return date: November 2022
