Harvey Nichols Fashion Show
For all fashion fans, the Harvey Nichols fashion show is happening on Friday in The Four Seasons Hotel, Dublin 4. Tickets are, let’s face it, rather pricey at €100 – but all proceeds go to the Dublin Rape Crisis Centre. The drinks reception starts at 1PM. We’re looking forward to seeing some beautiful things! #Excited!
Simon Amstell live in Vicar Street
If it’s a few LOLz you’re after, Simon Amstell is currently on his fourth international stand up tour, To Be Free, and he’ll be making peeps giggle in Vicar Street on Friday night from 8.30pm. Tickets are priced at €28 and on sale now via Ticketmaster.
Usher
Usher is playing Dublin’s 3 Arena on Friday night and The Odyssey Arena in Belfast on Saturday. He’s promising to give fans an “Usher experience like they’ve never seen or heard before.” Er… deadly?! Doors open at 6.30PM and last remaining tickets are available on Ticketmaster, €60. Go get ’em quick!
John Talabot
If Usher’s not your thing, John Talabot will be playing in District 8 on Saturday night. Listed in Resident Advisor’s top 20 DJs in the world, it’ll be the third time he’s played in Ireland and it’s sure to be a savage gig. Doors open at 11pm and tickets are €15.
Telly-watching
Planning to kick back on the couch? The finale of The Graham Norton Show will be showing all the highlights from the season. including appearances from Meryl Streep, David Beckham, Jennifer Aniston, Benedict Cumberbatch, One Direction, Will Smith AND Judi Dench. Phew! Sounds pretty STELLAR to us. It’s on BBC1, Friday at 10.35pm.
