Woke Bae Chris Evans Tore Into Piers Morgan For Mocking Men Who Carry Their Babies
The Dads of Twitter have also united to call him out.
Now, we KNOW we shouldn’t rise to any of Piers Morgan’s trollish tweets. But this one is just too ridiculous, and even Captain America knows it.
Being his usual provocative self, Piers Morgan posted a photo of actor Daniel Craig walking with his baby daughter strapped to his chest, calling him ’emasculated Bond’.
Oh 007.. not you as well?!!! #papoose #emasculatedBond pic.twitter.com/cqWiCRCFt3

(A ‘papoose’ is another word for a baby carrier, BTW.)
He knew exactly what he was doing, of course – almost instantly, he was inundated with responses from people asking why the hell a man would be ’emasculated’ by carrying his own child like that. Surely this should only be encouraged?
Perhaps the most scathing response came from Captain America actor Chris Evans, who has been on quite the roll when it comes to calling people out as of late.

“You really have to be so uncertain of your own masculinity to concern yourself with how another man carries his child,” Chris tweeted. “Any man who wastes time quantifying masculinity is terrified on the inside.”
ATE HIM CHRIS. The Dads of Twitter also rallied to defend Daniel Craig, posting photos of themselves carrying their children in a similar fashion:
#emasculatedUFCfighter en route to Thailand, did my whole fight camp with her in the #papoose…she finished camp unscathed!! š @ufc pic.twitter.com/AmQaSSqF73

I never thought Iād have anything in common with 007 ANNND Capt. America @ChrisEvans. We all enjoy being dads and we all think you suck. You really do suck @piersmorgan. pic.twitter.com/8gCrJiQX3r

I love carrying my kids. If @piersmorgan is the arbiter of being a man, then I'll gladly not be one. pic.twitter.com/nEBgiXcX2S

Piers has been saying that his problem is strictly with the wearing of the ‘papoose’ and not with men being hands-on fathers, but… we know exactly what he’s trying to do, and it ain’t cute.
As many of the women responding to Chris Evans put it, a man being a good dad only adds to his attractiveness. Just see any of Chris Hemsworth’s Instagrams with his kids for proof. *swoons*
