Roz Purcell Let Us In On Her Weekend Arm Workout And It’s… Intense
Battleropes 'n' burpies.
Scheduling a workout into your Friday evening or Saturday morning plans is always a handy way to get some balance into your weekend plans. Okay, a 45-min HIIT session might not completely cancel out the cocktail-fuelled dinner you have planned for Saturday night, but every little helps, right?
If you’re planning on hitting the gym in the coming days, we’d suggest heading over to Roz Purcell’s Instagram for some serious #fitspo before you do, because she’s just shared a workout video that totally floored us.
The model trains using a mix of boxing, strength training and HIIT cardio, and regularly posts videos from her sweaty sessions. Today’s video is an “arm finisher” involving battleropes and burpies. See for yourself:
Roz is also a fan of pull-ups, which are great for working the back and shoulders, though they’re a little harder to master:
Some serious negatives for breakfast @metabolicfitness working really hard on them to nail my pull ups, but boomerang makes it seem like I got it already #training #arms #metabolicfitness #naturalbornfeeder

Speaking to STELLAR back in May, Roz said she works out daily to keep herself in check – both physically and mentally.
“I’m open about it – if I don’t train, I get quite sad and anxious. I train every day, at least once. If I’ve a day off, I might try to train twice.”
Her motivation? “I really want to be strong. A lot of girls say strong is the new skinny, but they don’t believe it. I genuinely want to be strong.”
We’ll drink (a protein shake) to that…
