We put Cork-born singer and sparkle fanatic Lyra under pressure with these 9 STELLAR Questions.

From her favourite makeup product to a secret project in the works. Lyra tells us everything! 

1. What is your go-to perfume? 

Oh my God. I don’t know the name; it’s from Aldi. It’s a dupe for Jo Malone, that’s the one. I’m not going to get a €70 perfume; the budget isn’t that big, lads. It’s Aldi dupes for me! 

2. What albums do you listen to when you need to hype yourself up? 

Ooooh, she’s going there!! It would have to be Beyoncé – Renaissance or Rumors by Fleetwood Mac. There are different types of hypes, though.

3. What is one personal and one professional thing on your bucket list?

One personal goal is to pay for me and my family to go on a family holiday together. We’ve never been on one together, and one professional goal is that I’d love to do a tour of America. 

4. What is your favourite song right now?

Too Sweet – Hozier. It’s everywhere! 

5. What was the last film you watched?

The Fall Guy! I was enthralled by how it was made. I was like, this was wild, but I’m here for it; it was good. I mean Ryan Gosling…HELLO! 

6. What is your favourite makeup product? 

Pillowtalk Lipliner by Charlotte Tilbury. I love overdrawing my lips; I love a big, juicy vibe.

7. What is your karaoke song?

Rolling in the Deep by Adele, I love it!

8. Who is your dream collaboration?

I’ve so many, I can’t even breathe. I’d have to say Beyoncé. Two women together are just so powerful together; look at Beyoncè and Lady Gaga!

9. Where do you feel most at peace?

At home, I’m such a homebird. Home and my family mean everything to me. I could have everything else in the world, but if I don’t have them, I’m done. 

10. What song do you wish you had written apart from your own?

Always and forever, it’s Take Me To Church by Hozier. Lyrically, it is just magical.

11. Are there any secret projects you can tell us a little bit about? 

The thing with me is that they don’t tell me because I would have told you everything. There is a lot in the pipeline. A lot of shows are coming up, and I am getting back in the studio as I am very inspired, so more music as soon as I can, and possibly a collaboration is on the way…
