Maybe it’s a sheer sign that I’m getting older but at the minute, I’m spending all my free time either scrolling through homeware stores, scouting Pinterest for inspiration or finding myself in an orderly line to enter one of the many hardware and interior stores in Dublin.

Yep, I’m in a home makeover wormhole, with my brain overthinking on what I can do next to change my room, revamp it and get to the stage where I can finally shout “move that bus” and reveal my glorious and newly renovated space.

For some backstory, I’ve recently just moved into a new home in Dublin 2 and so, I’ve been spending the last few months revamping my bedroom and now, I’m going to start sharing the process over on my Instagram – if you’re also in the market for some new bits and exciting finds, that’s where you’ll find me.

But one thing I’ve been loving is hunting for some good wall art. From cheap and cheerful marketplaces to incredible Irish designers, I’ve decided to share a selection of websites that I’ve been creeping – and not only supply beautiful artwork of high quality, but artwork that’s also not overly expensive.

Here’s where I’m loving…

Desenio

Desenio for prints is kind of like the ASOS for clothes, it’s a go-to for many, if not most people when they’re looking for prints and I’m not surprised as to why. The prints are great, the place also does frames and you can shop by style, look, size, colour. What’s even better is if you’re in the market for a gallery wall, they’ll provide you with inspo too using prints you can shop on there.

Desenio first caught my eye thanks to Retro Flame and I’ve loved it ever since.

Jam Art Prints

Located in Temple Bar and Patrick Street in Dublin, Jam Art Prints produces incredible Irish prints and souvenirs. With iconic images of Dublin, phrases we all know and love, and then, just some striking and creative images of the ordinary and extraordinary, these prints would look good anywhere in your home. Jam Art is certainly worth your browse.

Not only that, but all their frames are also handmade and fitted to suit your print. Not only are you supporting local but you know your print is one that’s seriously made with love.

April And The Bear

Another incredible Irish business, April And The Bear is not only online but there’s also a store located in Rathmines, Dublin 6. Stocking a wide variety of prints, from graphic patterns to funny phrases and colloquial slang, no matter if you live here or abroad, these prints would make anywhere feel like home and at such a good price point with each print averaging around €20 – €30.

Not only that, but if you’re in the market for some divine wallpaper, books, or beautifully made greeting cards, April And The Bear might just become your new best friend.

Oliver Bonas

At a price point that’s a little higher, Oliver Bonas is the perfect place to shop for unique prints that are a little bit quirky and certainly will make an impact.

Varying in prices, colours and bold statements, Oliver Bonas will add a funky edge to anyone’s house and I must admit, in my homeware creeps I do spend more time than I’d like to admit scrolling through their furniture selection, artwork, insane range of gifts.

Laura Duffy Art

And lastly, continuing with prints that pack a POP, Laura Duffy Art is one not to be forgotten. Not only are all the prints created by the woman herself, she’s forever changing up her selection, as well as offering customised prints and personalisation.

If you’re a lover of colour, pop culture and the Y2K era, Laura Duffy Art will make sure that interest features as a statement in your home with the most beautiful designs.

And not only that, her prints come in at a great price point averaging at around €7 for most of them.

Yes, girl.
