What we're doing, recommending and grateful for this week.

 

It’s all go as per for us here at STELLAR, between holidays, events, getting our gorgeous mags to print and all the goss on the sight, we feel like the summer is really flying by, how is it mid July?

But thankfully, we can also say that we’re starting to feel the summer heat too (finally!) And we’re living for it. There’s nothing like a bit of sun on your skin to keep you out and about, iced coff in hand.

So what has team STELLAR been at, loving and living for recently?

 

Denise loves… Hollyy Makes phone charms

If there’s one thing I *often* get complimented on, it’s my stunning phone charms and hey – I can’t even take credit for them, because they’re thanks to one incredibly talented small business owner. Hollyy Makes is an accessories brand by Holly Johnston which began during the pandemic and now, sells both online and via her concession in a curated store on 6 Hibernia Way, Dawson St, Dublin.

Her phone charms not only make your phone POP, but are very handy for rooting the device out of a bag, adding to a mirror selfie and all round stunning-ness! I got a new one for my upcoming hols in Lisbon and I cannot wait to style it with my outfits! Eeeep!

 

Jade loves…A boujee hotel stay

I adore a hotel stay and of course, it’s a treat whenever I have the pleasure of calling a double bedroom home for a few days, or even a single night. But when can, I make sure to make the most of the full experience. Recently, I was kindly invited to stay at The Westbury in Dublin with Revitalash to celebrate their launch in Ireland.

After being greeted with a welcome box with white roses, wine, chocolate and other self care bits, I drew a bath and perused the room service menu. I felt VERY glam altogehter. Pulling on the white fluffy robe, I joined my collegues for dinner and Love Island, honestly the perfect evening.

The press stay was completed with a fabulous breakfast the next morning where we learned all about the inspiring story behind Revitalash and their philosophy. The team couldn’t have been nicer and made me so excited to get my hands on their products. Hopefully, I will be fluttering my extra long lashes v soon!

 

Ellen loves… glazed donut nails


This week I’m getting serious nail inspo from the one and only Hailey Bieber, who’s been spotted sporting so-called “glazed donut” nails recently.

Think translucent pinks and milky whites with a pearlescent finish… it’s a slight step up from a classic nude and is giving serious effortless chic vibes (if you call spending half an hour shaping and painting my nails effortless).

Hailey’s LA Nail artist Zola Ganzorigt (@nailsbyzola) shared the recipe she used for the nail look on insta, so we can all replicate the look! While I’m still partial to a bright neon festi-nail moment, sometimes you can’t beat the classics and these nails go with everything So if Hailey’s a fan then maybe it will help me channel my inner model off-duty? (Justin won’t be able to tell us apart).

 

Jade loves…A West End Show

In a shocking turn of events, I have another musical to talk about!

I had the chance to jet over to London for the West End Premiere of Beauty And The Beast with the Bord Gais Energy Theatre and it was magical! 

The costumes, set, performances and overall atmosphere in the theatre left me smiling from ear to ear throughout the show, as a Disney lover and a former musical theatre kid, this was my dream. The following day I had the chance to chat to two members of the cast and I can’t wait to share more about what we got up to…Watch this space!

 

Denise loves… summer events and catch-ups with friends

Don’t get me wrong, I love a winter event, but nothing gets me out of the house just quite as fast as a summer bash! Any reason to stay outside when the weather is sunny, drink in hand, and I’m sold! Last week, various media and influencers came together to celebrate PR house Elevate PR turning 21-years-old!

A massive achievement and one which we cheered to at House Dublin.
