It’s now what feels like January 71st, our last pay day feels like it was in another lifetime, and it’s just zero craic. Absolute zero craic. The only thing getting us through these miserable January days is that it’s almost over, and day dreaming of what we’re going to be treating ourselves to when payday finally arrives.

Fenty Beauty Flypencil

Rihanna knows what she’s doing when it comes to cosmetics, so the launch of her brand new eyeliners was, of course, warmly welcomed. Plus, they’re long wearing, water-resistant and seriously smooth. The pencil liners come in a range of 20 (!) colours, from matte to metallic and shimmer to glitter. Basically, all you could ever want in a pencil liner.

If you really want to go all out when it comes to payday treats, there’s also the first Fenty Beauty ‘Full Frontal’ mascara and the brand new Snapshadows. The choice is almost too much.

This Stunning Zara Coat

January may be nearly over, but the doesn’t mean the cold days are going away too (we all know this, at this stage). So what better time to treat yourself to a new coat? You won’t be sick of it after wearing all winter, and it’ll still suit perfectly the next time the winter days roll around. This one from Zara is simply divine, complete with the gorgeous colour and lapel details. It’s slightly steep, but a good coat is always a good investment.

Spring Dresses

Okay, so it may be cold still but we’re still waiting patiently for spring dresses. They’re ideal for layering, dressing up and dressing down. Basically they perfect payday treat, think of all the wear you’re going to get out of it!? This ASOS beauty has gone straight to the top of our list. Another green choice too, we’re sensing a trend here.

MAC Lunar Illusions

The new Lunar Illusions collection from MAC is a thing of beauty. Some of their best selling products have been re-imagined and redesigned, and it looks almost too precious to use. The Lunar Illusions Extra Dimension Skinfinish highlighter is the go to for glow, it’s almost a shame to use that designed pan.

A Takeaway, Obvs

Well, what better way to give yourself a pat on the back for getting through January than finishing the month off with your all time favourite takeaway? A cosy night in with a bottle of wine and a takeaway is up there with the best of times. It’s basically a fact. Throw in an extra garlic dip too, you deserve it.

Grown Ups by Marian Keyes

Of course, no treat yourself list is complete without the addition of a good aul’ book. Marian is back with another release that’s sure to be up there with the rest of our faves. Out on February 6th, we won’t have too long to wait once payday rolls around.

Freddy Jeans

Okay, so they’re not brand spanking new, but a lift at the end of January is exactly what we need (pun intended). Freddy Jeans was originally a dance brand and now specialises in body-sculpting and bum-lifting jeans and faux leather trousers, thanks to their patented technology which is designed to shape, lift and smooth curves. Also, they’re ridiculously comfy, almost like a second skin.
