A Complete Relationship Timeline of Newly Weds – Kristen Stewart and Dylan Meyer

Kristen Stewart, most known for her role in the iconic Twilight franchise, tied the knot with Dylan Meyer on April 20 in their home in Los Angeles.

The pair are quite private in their relationship – here’s everything they’ve shared about their romantic journey so far.

Dylan, a screenwriter and actress, is most known for her roles in Moxie, The Wrong Girls and An American Pickle. At the intimate ceremony, the happy couple shared the moment with good friend and star of Pretty Little Liars Ashley Benson and her husband, Brandon Davis.

The pair have stayed out of the spotlight over the years, choosing to keep their relationship private and intimate.

2019 – Relationship beginnings

Technically the newlyweds met in 2013 on a movie set however, they did not reconnect until six years later in 2019.

The couple were spotted kissing on a street curb which confirmed they were dating in the summer and made their relationship public in October via an Instagram post shared by Dylan of the pair kissing with the caption, “Find me under the covers hiding from the happiness police.”

Later that year in November of 2019, Stewart made an appearance on The Howard Stern Show where she discussed the first time she told Dylan she was in love with her.

“The first time I told her I love her it was really late and we were in some sh*tty bar, and her friends were there or whatever and they walked out, and I was just like, ‘Oh man, I’m so f*cking in love with you.’ Like, done,” “It wasn’t like ‘a thing,’ and it also was so obvious.”

2021 – Kristen and Dylan get engaged!

Fast forward to 2021 the public hear the exciting announcement that the pair are engaged! Stewart made another appearance on The Howard Stern Show telling the story of how Meyer was the one to pop the question.

“We’re marrying, we’re totally gonna do it,” she said. “I wanted to be proposed to, so I think I very distinctly carved out what I wanted and she nailed it. It was really cute, she did very well. We’re marrying, it’s happening.”

2022 – Wedding plans abound

In January of 2022 we saw Stewart make an appearance on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert. During the show, Stewart spoke on some of the wedding plans her and Dylan have made so far.

Stewart said that they plan on it being “so un-ceremonial”. “We might just go do it this weekend or something, I don’t know, and then, like, just hang out with everyone afterwards.”

Soon after in March we see the pair make their first public appearance together at the Oscars party hosted by the Hollywood Reporter, and less than a week later the couple made their red carpet debut at the Critics’ Choice Awards.

2024 – Family plans

In February of 2024 Stewart attended another interview with Rolling Stone where she shared that she would someday like to start a family with Dylan, “Ideally at some point soon I want to have a kid.’ I really want that to happen.”

A few months later in April we saw Dylan make a heartfelt birthday post for Kristen with the caption: “Happy birthday to this dash of hot sauce, my favourite person here on planet earth.

“You’re like finding five bucks in your pocket, like the drum solo in Phil Collins’s In the Air Tonight, like a friendly cat on the street. I don’t know how I got so lucky but I like really really love you and am wishing you a meteor shower of good stuff in the year to come. Get it, babe.” So sweet!
