Katy Perry is sharing some details about Orlando Bloom’s extravagant proposal.

The couple got engaged on Valentine’s Day and revealed the exciting news on Instagram a day later. It wasn’t much of a surprise to die-hard Katy fans though, as her mom kind of spoiled the news by posting it on Facebook.

Until now though we didn’t know much about how the actual proposal went down.

“It was Valentine’s Day, and I had to work that day. I just remember meeting him at dinner at this place, this Italian restaurant because, when I get a pass, I just want to just like stuff my face with pasta,” she explained.

The Firework singer says she knew something was up because Orlando shaved and wore nice shoes… sorry but low bar Orlando.

“So, I get there and he’s clean-shaven, he’s not wearing tennis shoes. I’m like, ‘Ah shit, something is going down,” she told Roman Kemp.

She added that the actor seemed nervous and was breathing heavily throughout their Italian dinner, then he stepped it up a notch.

“And then I got on a helicopter, and then he asked me to marry him. And then we landed on this building, and went downstairs and my family and friends were there and like the most flowers…the most flowers you’ve ever seen. It’s like when Kanye does that for Kim, you’re like, ‘Oh my god!’ And I was like, ‘Oh my god!’ Anyways, it’s great, he’s great. I love him very much.”

The couple has been dating since 2016 and it will be the second marriage for them both. Katy was married to comedian Russel Brand for two years, and Orlando split from model Miranda Kerr in 2013 after three years together.
