A Love Island Star May Be Taking Part In Next Year’s Eurovision
Liverpool 2023 here she comes!
Hype for next year’s Eurovision is already mounting. Set to take place in Liverpool next May, countries are currently in the process of finding the acts they want to represent them, and Greece may have a very interesting representative.
Love Island 2022 contestant Antigoni Buxton is currently in talks to represent Greece in the competition. Of course, Antigoni has Greek/Cypriot heritage and a keen singer too, she has already submitted 3 songs for the competition.

She flew out to Athens recently to show what she can do, and she’s pretty confident in her talents. Chatting with MailOnline she said:
“I’m submitting three songs but one, in particular, is my favourite”
“It’s an up-tempo, powerful, fiery and romantic track with both Greek and English lyrics”

She added that taking part in next year’s contest would mean a lot for her as she feels her platform can do good for her country.
“I’m so proud of my Greek roots and my goal as a musician is to share Greek sounds and culture with the world”
“As the Eurovision is being held in the UK where I live, it would be an honour to be able to use my platform here to shine a light on the country I’m representing.”
Of course, Antigoni didn’t have too much luck in the Love Island villa this year, when she was dumped by week 4. Here’s hoping that she can have better luck in Eurovision 2023.
