Hold up!

It’s been five years since Fifth Harmony went their separate ways.

The girl group disbanded in 2018, nearly two years after Camila Cabello left the group to pursue a solo career.

Now, member of the group Ally Brooke has said there may be hopes for a reunion between the girls – though it’s probably not what you’re thinking.

Speaking with E! News, Ally shared that she “100 percent” sees the girls getting back together; sending fans into a spiral. The singer said, “”We may be working on something…sooner than we’d think”.

However, it turns out she didn’t necessarily mean that Fifth Harmony would be re-forming the band.

Taking to X (formerly known as Twitter) to clarify what she meant by her comments, Ally wrote, “I’m thrilled to see there’s a lot of interest surrounding Fifth Harmony”.

“Reunion has many meanings and while there’s no official band reunion happening at the moment, some beautiful friendships and relationships are slowly reuniting in a healing and empowering way.”

So, we might not be getting any new harmonies from these ladies just yet, but it’s nice to know that they’re building on their relationships with one another.

Although Ally didn’t go into specifics, rumours swirled throughout the girls’ careers of feuds within the group, particularly when Camila chose to go solo.

In her song Psychofreak, Camila sings, “I don’t blame the girls for how it went down”.

Around the time the song came out, she told Reuters “We have been, like, supportive of each other through like DMs and stuff…I’m like, in a really good place with them.”

Is Camila included when Ally speaks of a reunion between the group?

Only time will tell!
