Are We Getting A White Lotus Prequel With Jennifer Coolidge?!

Creator of the hit show The White Lotus, Mike White, has teased that Tanya McQuoid could still be played by Jennifer Coolidge.

While attending the Sydney Film Festival, White toyed with the idea of exploring some of Tanya’s past in a prequel series.

Jennifer Coolidge has collected several awards, including a Golden Globe for her performance and, along with fans, has shared her enthusiasm for the possibility of seeing Tanya resurrected in future seasons.

Speaking to the audience he said, “I absolutely think that’s possible, we were just talking about that”.

“It’s a funny idea. And making Jennifer, you know, 20 years younger, that would be fun too. I think Jennifer’s like, ‘Sure, let’s do it!’ “.

The duo then spoke about where the Tanya-focused prequel could go, the show has previously taken place in Hawaii and Sicily and the third season is already set to take place in Thailand.

Coolidge added, “Australia gets my vote”.

“My dream would be to hit every continent, so yeah, this is like its own continent, basically,” White added. “We kind of have to come to Australia if we keep going.

“It would be so fun. Obviously, there’s a huge wealth of talent here and the beauty is inarguable, so it feels like it checks all the boxes.”

While we only have this little conversation to work with for now, our imaginations are already running wild with possibilities.
