Are We Getting New Music From Paramore?

It’s been a long time coming Paramore fans, but it looks the wait may soon be over as we’re one step closer to getting their highly anticipated new album.

Ever since the band announced that they were taking a break in 2019, fans were left devasted, hoping for a quick return. But since then, lead singer, Halye Williams has dropped two critically-acclaimed solo studio albums as well as expanded her Good Dye Young brand. So it hasn’t been all bad really!

However, the past few days have seen all three members, including Zac Farro and Taylor York teasing their new era on Instagram. Eeeeeekk!!

Back in 2021, Halye let slip that the band had begun working on their sixth album, which left fans with one question. When would they be able to listen?

Well, eagle-eyed followers of the band were quick to notice, that Paramore had archived all but two of their posts on Instagram, one of which included a list of their 2022 tour dates. As well as that, all three members of the groups changed their profile pictures on their individual Instagram pages to previously unseen images in which each of their faces is pressed against a glass surface. Hmmm, this is all very mysterious indeed!!

Now, the pop-rock band have yet to release any more information but of course, many fans took this as confirmation that new music is imminent.

Reacting to the news, one fan tweeted, “depression is postponed paramore is pressing their faces against glass,” while another wrote, “paramore coming back on the anniversary of the last show they played is so paramore of them.”

So what can we expect from the album? Well according to an interview Hayley did with Rolling Stone earlier this year, the band will be leaning into their rock side with “more emphasis back on the guitar” while Zac plans to go “as animal as he wants with drum takes.”

With the band commencing their tour on October 2nd and their suspicious activity on social media, it seems likely that their new album or single could drop very very soon.
