Awks! Vogue Made A Massive Gigi Hadid Photoshop Fail On Its New Cover
How did that HOWLER of a mistake get past Anna Wintour?
After shining its spotlight on Irish actress Ruth Negga last month, Vogue paid tribute to the ‘modern American woman’ for its March issue.
Shot on a Los Angeles beach, the ensemble cover features Ashley Graham, Liu Wen, Kendall Jenner, Adwoa Aboah, Vittoria Ceretti, Imaan Hammam, Gigi Hadid… and one glaring Photoshop error.
At first glance, the cover, which shows the seven models standing the sand dressed in black polonecks and shorts, doesn’t show up anything amiss.
But let’s take a closer look at Gigi and Ashley…
Specifically, let’s look at Gigi’s hand…
Er, WTF?! Either her left hand has suddenly grown by three inches, or that is some pretty rookie Photoshopping right there.
Awks. Vogue shared the cover on social media yesterday, and it didn’t take long for fans to pick up on the mistake, with some even suggesting the ExtendoHand™ was an attempt to make Ashley Graham’s waist appear slimmer.

Some commenters noted that Ashley’s own hand was on her thigh instead of around someone’s waist, although Ashley herself has already stepped up to point out that there was nothing planned about her hand position.
“I chose to pose like that,” she wrote on Instagram.

While we’re happy to see Vogue trying its best to embrace women of different shapes, ethnicities and backgrounds on its cover, we’re really hoping that Photoshop fail was a simple error and nothing more.
