Britney Spears Has Posted An Update Telling Her Fans ‘All Is Well’
"Don’t believe everything you read and hear.”
Yesterday we gave you an in-depth lowdown on what exactly is going on with Britney Spears and the #FreeBritney movement.
Until now, Britney hadn’t commented on the situation herself or clarified whether or not it was her decision to enter the mental health facility she currently resides in. This morning, the 37-year-old posted a video to Instagram reassuring her followers that she’s doing okay.
“Hi guys, just checking in with all of you that are concerned about me,” she said in the video. “All is well, my family has been going through a lot of stress and anxiety, so I just needed time to deal, but don’t worry, I’ll be back very soon.”
In the caption, Brit wrote that she wanted to check in with her fans because “things that are being said have just gotten out of control!!!”
“I am trying to take a moment for myself,” the post continued, “but everything that’s happening is just making it harder for me. Don’t believe everything you read and hear.”
She referenced fake emails that she says were created by her former manager, Sam Lufti, years ago, though it was not immediately clear what emails she was referring to.
“My situation is unique, but I promise I’m doing what’s best at this moment,” she wrote. “Your love and dedication is amazing, but what I need right now is a little bit of privacy to deal with all the hard things life is throwing my way. If you could do that, I would be forever grateful.”

Sam Lutfi, who was Britney’s manager prior to her meltdown in 2007, sued her and her parents for reasons that included breach of contract stemming from an oral agreement with Britney, her mother’s alleged libel against him in the memoir Through the Storm: A Real Story of Fame and Family in a Tabloid World, and her father’s alleged assault.
Despite Britney’s lengthy statement, fans aren’t buying that she’s okay and still believe she is being held in a mental health facility against her will.
This video did nothing but convince me that she’s def not well…

One fan wrote: “Your team is removing comments from this post. I hope they know we know your civil rights are being violated by the conservatorship. Their narrative is wrong – we don’t care if you need “me time,” we care that you have CIVIL RIGHTS.”
Another asked: “This still seems staged idk. If this is true, then how come her mom had been liking #freebritney posts?”

Dancer Ricky Dillon wished Brit well writing: “I love you so much. I hope all is well ?”

UPDATE: Britney’s ex manager responds to claims that he “fabricated emails”.
Britney’s former manager Sam Lutfi has denied claims that he “fabricated emails” after the singer addressed concerns about her well-being in a video on Instagram.
Taking to Twitter, Sam wrote: “Britney’s Instagram post has accused me of fabricating emails of hers that have been circulating recently.
“I can unequivocally state that I never wrote nor had access to her email. Her team’s desperate attempt to defect negative attention onto me (yet again) is a rather ineffective way to overshadow the FreeBritney movement.
“In addition to making certain people in her camp look bad, the emails in question show a woman capable of running her own life, a narrative they apparently want to hide.”
Nice try Lou but this isn't going to work this time around pic.twitter.com/v5fopzErKz

Sam also retweeted a post which read: “Britney clearly didn’t write that caption and that generic video message? Nah huns. Since when has @britneyspears ever named and shamed anyone or even threw shade at @SamLutfi? It’s a diversion! #FreeBritney.”
He retweeted another tweet saying: “But…what if Britney does make a statement but it’s just her team? And if she mentions it on video or in an interview, how will we know she wasn’t manipulated into saying it..”
Sam has also been liking tweets insinuating Britney is not in control of her situation in the mental health facility right now.
The sad part is they'll be announcing another residency and getting their cash cow back to work to make them their money while she continues to live miserable without many of her civil rights, Jamie isn't so ill that he's driving, fishing and attending parties.
