Camila Cabello And Shawn Mendes Split After 2 Years Together

Once one of the internet’s favourite couples, Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes have announced that they’ve decided to part ways after two years together.

In a statement posted to Instagram, they wrote “Hey guys, we’ve decided to end our romantic relationship but our love for one another as humans is stronger than ever.”

Before adding, “We started our relationship as best friends and will continue to be best friends. We so appreciate your support from the beginning and moving forward.”

In case you need a reminder, the pair started dating back in the summer of 2019 shortly after the music video for ‘Señorita’ dropped.

Recently, Shawn spoke out about his regrets in their relationship, “I raised my voice at her, and she was like, ‘I don’t like it when you raise your voice. Why did you raise your voice?’ And I got so defensive,” he admitted.

“I was like, ‘I wasn’t raising my voice at you!’ And I did raise my voice at her. And then I felt her shrink and I felt me grow and I was like ‘Oh my god this is the worst,” Shawn explained, before revealing that he is ‘terrified of being evil’.

Following the fight, the couple had a ‘massive conversation’ to talk about what happened, giving Shawn some important things to think about.
