Cardi B Is Counter-Suing Her Former Manager For $15 Million For Trying to Have ‘Complete Control Over Her’
This comes after his lawsuit against her back in April.
Cardi B is suing her ex-manager for being too controlling and trying to come between her and her fiancé Offset.
Cardi B’s former manager Klenord “Shaft” Raphael sued the ‘Bodak Yellow’ singer back in April claiming that he made her a star and he was the cut off.
The rapper filed a countersuit on Thursday against him for $15million, accusing Raphael of “self-dealing” and “deceitful and disloyal conduct.”
According to TMZ, the suit alleges Raphael had her sign over 50% of her royalties to him. It claims he took 20% commission on most of her deals and 50% from her Sony music publishing deal.
Cardi also claims that he tried to control every aspect of her life by putting “barriers between her and people close to her in an effort to maintain complete control over her.”
These barriers allegedly included attempts to control “who she should and should not see romantically” which is referring to her fiancé Offset.
Cardi is now pregnant with her first child with Offset.
