Cardi B Opens Up About Divorce From Rapper, Offset

Just three months after they married, Cardi B’s husband, Offset, was rumoured to have been caught in a sex tape with another woman. The cheating scandal hit headlines in January 2018 and at the time she decided to stay with him.

However, Cardi B has since decided to spit from Migos member and spoke about it on her Instagram feed this weekend. Always one to be super honest, Cardi B discussed her reasons behind the decision.

It seems their constant arguing became too much for the pair; “I just got tired of f***ing arguing. I got tired of not seeing things eye to eye.”

“When you feel like it’s not the same anymore, before you actually get cheated on, I rather just be… you know what I’m saying? Like, I’m tired of people.”

She also shared that she isn’t sad about the decision at all, saying that she appreciates all the love and support from her fans but she doesn’t “really need it.”

“I’m okay. I want to let you know I have not shed not one tear.”

“This time, I wasn’t crying. Wanna know why? The reason my divorce is not because of none of that s**t that ever happened before. It’s not because the cheating.”

She also went on to discredit any cheating rumours, saying that she doesn’t understand why people want there to be a really bad reason for a divorce;

“You just get tired of the arguments and the buildup. You get tired sometimes.”

“And before something bad happens, before you get left, before you get cheated on, you sometimes you just want to leave. What is so bad about that?

“I’m great. I’m okay. I’m not down. I’m not devastated. I’m not hurt.”

The couple have one child together, Kulture, who is two years old.
