Cardi B Shares That She And Offset Have Officially Separated

Cardi B and her husband Offset have officially called it quits.

Cardi revealed to fans that the iconic duo have separated on an Instagram Live yesterday.

“I’ve been single for a minute now, but I have been afraid to like… not afraid… I just don’t know how to tell the world,” she confessed.

“But I feel like today has been a sign,” the singer continued.

“The last time I got on Live, I kind of wanted to tell you guys, but I didn’t know how to tell you, so I changed my mind. But it has been like this for a minute now. I just took it as a sign.”

Cardi went on to explain that eagle eyed fans have probably already put two and two together.

“I don’t know if you guys have been getting clues from me, from my Lives, or from my stories, when I put some certain music, or from my unfollowings.”

Cardi and Offset had unfollowed each other on Instagram last week, leading some fans to realise that something wasn’t right between the two.

The WAP singer then went on to speak positively about how she sees things going since the split.

“I wanna start 2024 fresh, open,” she admitted, adding “I don’t know. I’m curious for a new life, for a new beginning. And yeah, I’m excited!”

Cardi and Offset were married for five years – and share two children; daughter Kulture, who is five, and son Wave, who is two.

Later, on her Instagram story, Cardi hinted at her past relationship.

She wrote, “You know when you just out grow relationships.”

Then, she added another which said, “I’m tired of protecting peoples feelings…I GOTTA PUT MYSELF FIRST!”
