Did Hailey Bieber Cry On The Red Carpet After Fans Chanted ‘Selena’?

The star appeared to be consoled by her husband Justin Bieber at the 2021 Met Gala.


A viral TikTok video that apparently shows Hailey Bieber getting teary eyed on the red carpet is a hot topic of conversation this week following Monday night’s Met Gala.

The video then gained more attraction after Ireland Baldwin, cousin to Hailey Baldwin commented on it to defend the star and her husband.

In the short clip, we can hear and see fans chanting ‘Selena’ outside the Met in New York City as Hailey Bieber and Justin Bieber arrive at the venue.

For those who don’t know, Justin previously dated Selena Gomez on and off between 2010 and 2018, before finally calling it quits after eight years. Some fans, however, appear to still be hung up on the pair’s past relationship, despite Justin now being married to Hailey Bieber for three years.

When Hailey and Justin took to the red carpet of the Met, it was clear Hailey was upset over something; more than likely the chants outside, as she popped on her sunglasses for the press photos, with Justin apparently whispering to her “I love you,” followed by “don’t cry, don’t cry.”

On the viral TikTok video, Ireland Baldwin admitted that Hailey and Justin are the most in love couple she’s every seen, before adding that they don’t care about the fans’ silly comments.

And it looks as though Hailey didn’t leave the words of others ruin her night, as the star was seen bopping along to her beau later in the night while inside the venue. Biebs performed some of his hits for the crowd to get everyone up and dancing.

Hailey joined her celebrity pals Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid.
