It’s often said that Love Island isn’t just about finding love, or the £50,000 cash prize, but the career it lands you post-villa if you become a successful and long lasting Islander.

As we’ve seen in the past, the likes of Molly Mae and Tommy Fury, Olivia Buckland, Kem Cetinay, Chris Hughes, Maura Higgins, Amber Rose Gill and Olivia Attwood to name a few, have gone on to lead very successful lives from the start that Love Island gave them.

Working with brands from Boohoo to Beauty Works and charging for Instagram posts, many Islanders have too gone on to launch their own businesses off the back of Love Island and the fame they got with it.

One Islander who recently admitted that going on the show was to do just that, grow her name and land some deals, was Zara McDermott.

Starring in the show in 2018 and dating co-star and former Islander Adam Collard when she left the villa, Zara admitted that she was “there for a PLT deal,” while discussing the current Love Island show with boyfriend Sam Thompson.

Zara now works with fashion brand Missguided

The pair were talking about Lucinda’s intentions and why she didn’t leave the show with Brad, with Sam saying he believes she’s there for business reasons, vying for a PrettyLittleThing collaboration.

Well, whatever the case may be, the show must go on and now, it looks like Casa Amor is around the corner! Want to know when fans are predicting that will happen? Click here!
