Love Island Fans, It Looks Like Casa Amor Is Coming VERY Soon

It's time for a shake-up!

Although this year’s season of Love Island is providing us with great nightly entertainment, things could always still do with a little ~shaking up~.

We want heads-turning, tongue-wagging drama (as long as it doesn’t involve upsetting Hugo though), and there’s only one thing that can give us that – the infamous Casa Amor.

Known for causing a massive stir in the villa in previous seasons, Casa Amor sees the male and female contestants split up, with each of them being joined with 10 other (usually very good looking) contestants. Ultimately everyone has to decide whether or not they have a strong enough bond with the person they’re already coupled up with or if they want to spark something with someone else in their new villa.

When can expect it this year?

The Independant has worked out that usually Casa Amor takes place on the 4th week of the series. So, if our calculations are correct, we should expect the segment in just over a week’s time on the 23rd-26th of July.

We can hardly contain our excitement.

As for other news in the Love Island world, well, it looks like former Love Islander and winter series contestant Shaughna Phillips isn’t holding back on her views of this season.

During an appearance on Love Island: Aftersun, Shaughna was asked to give her opinion on this year’s contestants.

“I like Liberty [Poole] but I don’t like the couple Liberty is in,” before adding that she “doesn’t like Jake”.

She was then asked if she would couple up with anyone in the villa at the moment, sharing that newcomer Teddy would be her pick. “Teddy is giving me Ovie [Soko] vibes. He’s cool. He’s calm. All of the originals: trash.”

Well, don’t mince your words Shaughna.

Love Island continues tonight on Virgin Media Two at 9pm.
