Liam Payne is trending on Twitter at the moment after a clip from Monday’s Good Morning Britain went viral, showcasing the former One Directioner giving his thoughts on *that* chaotic Oscar’s moment.

Explaining how the moment should ‘never have happened’, Liam went on to continue by saying that the fight saw three losers; Chris, Will and Jada, yet noted however, that he believed Will did what he needed to do in that moment.

“I believe that he felt whatever he did, he had the right to do. I also felt there were three losers in one fight. He didn’t know, being Chris Rock, he didn’t do what he had to do, being Will Smith, and she did nothing, being Jada.

Liam continued: “It’s a very sad thing, but there was a powerful moment for me to sit and watch one of the world’s best emoters ever we’ve seen speak from the heart and I would rather take the beauty out of the situation than take the pain.”

And although Liam shed many thoughts on the explosive situation, it was his accent that had fans baffled when the clip went live.
