It’s safe to say we’re all buzzing for the return of Bridgerton and revelling in the news that the show isn’t coming back for just a second season, but a third and a fourth too.

Apparently, a whole eight seasons are in store, mind you, to coincide with the eight Bridgerton siblings and subsequently, based off the eight Bridgerton books by Julia Quinn.

Yes, as Netflix’s most watched series of all time, smashing the records with well over 80 million viewers, it’s no surprise it has grabbed the attention of one of the world’s most famous families, with Kim Kardashian openly admitting that she was hooked on the period drama.

Now, as we wait in anticipation for season two, Irish actress Nicola Coughlan who stars as Penelope Featherington in the hit show, has broke some pretty big news to the Kardashian Bridgerton stan.

Admitting that the sisters from the Featherington family took inspiration from none other than the Kardashians, Kim admitted she was ‘freaking out’ to hear the news. Even writing that this tweet was sent to her on her “Bridgerton group chat”.

Adding that she’d love to attend the show for a fitting and get in on the action, Derry Girls Nicola responded by admitting that they’d love to have her and that Kim’s connection to Bridgerton runs deep, with both Nicola and Kim getting fitted for corsets by a designer named Mr Pearl.

Continuing, Kim reacted by saying:

“OMG I’m gonna faint!!!!!! Does this make me an honorary Duchess in Bridgerton ?!?!?!? I am the corset Queen!!!”

See, no matter how famous you are, you can still fangirl. We gotta love this interaction!

Not long now before Kim stars in Bridgerton, wouldn’t you love to see it!
