A massive congratulations to Princess Beatrice and husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi who are expecting a baby.

Breaking the news on Wednesday morning, Buckingham Palace shared the announcement by saying:

“Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice and Mr Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are very pleased to announce that they are expecting a baby in autumn of this year.

“The Queen has been informed and both families are delighted with the news.”

Sharing a snap from their intimate wedding day, Beatrice and Edoardo chose to have a pretty private gathering for their special day, away from the press and public eye, saying their “I dos” in Windsor.

It is believed that not many were in attendance, but the guest list did include The Queen, the late Prince Philip, Sarah Ferguson, Prince Andrew and Princess Eugenie to name a few.

Having to postpone their wedding which was originally planned for May 2020 due to Covid-19, the pair’s reception was small but included all the important people in the pair’s life, with Princess Beatrice’s father, the Duke of York walking the bride down the aisle.

In terms of their new arrival, well, as confirmed by the royal family we know the little one will be arriving in autumn which means they will be the 12th grandchild to The Queen, arriving just after Harry and Meghan’s second child, a little girl this summer.

Exciting news all round. Be sure to keep an eye out for more updates from us as we hear more news.
