In the words of Steps themselves, 2020 can be described as the following:

It’s tragedy. When the morning cries and you don’t know why, it’s hard to bear. With no one beside you, you’re goin’ nowhere.

However, they’re here to make sure 2021 is a little less doom and gloom, by planning a serious gig roster and releasing new music; 23 years on since they released their debut track.

What’s exciting is that the album and the band’s tour will all kick off in November, starting in Sheffield on Tuesday, November 2 and finishing in Bournemouth on Wednesday, December 1.

Yes, in a time that we’ll hopefully be able to travel again freely and dance together in a closer capacity, the gigs look set to be promising as does the sixth studio album titled “What The Future Holds” –  talk about being current.

The album will also feature a track written by Sia, so you know going to be good. Explaining that the track just “wasn’t for her”, Claire from Steps told The Sun that Sia said: “We should give this to Steps because it would really suit them”.

Tickets for the gigs are on sale now and can be purchased online here.
