Jack Fowler, who many might remember as being coupled up with Laura Anderson, and leaving the villa with surfer girl Laura Crane back in 2018 while on the show, is sharing some advice for this year’s contestants.

Admitting that when you come out the villa, you feel like the hottest thing in the country, Jack admitted that the spotlight quickly dwindles and Islanders need to be prepared and smart when it comes to their finances in the long run.

“A lot of people when they come off a TV show think the buzz is going to last forever… it doesn’t, you’re hot, then you’re not,” the 25-year-old told the Daily Star.

Admitting that he was lucky to have his parents support and an agent that helped him “make sure my money is put in the right place at the right time,” Jack confesses that new Islanders need to be ready to do the same.

Noting that since he came off the show he feels, like many, he was “put in a box” as a reality TV star – something which Molly-Mae has also recently spoke out about trying to shake off – Jack admitted that he wants to separate himself from being an Islander to a musician.

“If I like something – and it comes naturally to me – whether I’ve been on a TV show or not, I’m still going to pursue it.”

And it looks like Jack is really trying to remove all his Love Island attachments, adding that he’s also not watching this year’s show and Islanders on their quest for love.

Well, there you have it.
