Couple Goals?! Andrew Garfield Reveals He And Emma Stone Once Got High At Disneyland
'How about Space Mountain three times in a row?'
Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone’s romance might be long over (at least for now), but we still fondly remember their two-year relationship as the ultimate celebrity romance.
Aside from the fact that they looked AMAZING together on the red carpet, the two also clearly enjoyed each other’s company and – perhaps most importantly – they were best mates, too. Who can forget this excellent fan photobomb?
Or that time they colluded against the paparazzi?
Total couple win. Now, Andrew has revealed something else about his time with Emma that’s given us a smile: his memory of his 29th birthday trip to Disneyland. Back in 2012, the Amazing Spider-Man star hit up the California theme park with Emma and a gang of their friends, and the birthday boy brought some *refreshments* along for their day out.
“I’m just gonna tell you this straight up,” he said in a video interview with W magazine, recalling the surprise birthday party his pals threw for him.
“They came out to L.A. to surprise me. We went to Disneyland. We ate pot brownies. It was literally heaven. How about Space Mountain three times in a row? I freaked out on It’s a Small World. I was like, ‘It is a fucking small world… Then we went back to the house and talked about how insane that day was.”
The former couple and their pals were taken around the park by a blissfully unaware Disney tour guide, who mistook their pot buzz for a natural high. “We had this girl called Chantelle — bless you, Chantelle, wherever you are — she was our guide. And I think she was that innocent and pure of heart that she had no idea that we were on drugs,” he added.
Watch the full interview below, complete with Andrew’s recreation of his impromptu birthday dance party at the park’s Fantasy Land.
