The Fallout starring Dance Moms star Maddie Ziegler and Jenna Ortega – who many will recognise from You season two and most recently, the new Scream movie, comes a film about the aftermath for those who experience a school shooting.

Taking place in a high school, the movie looks at how two students find their lives thrown together when an attack occurs at their school.

Hiding in the bathroom as they hear the first gunshots, the girls run into a cubicle together as the story unfolds.

With the first trailer landing last week, many people took to the comments section to reveal that they found the two minute clip unsettling and eery due to its heartbreaking and all too real storyline.

A movie which looks to be the first of its kind and featuring Megan Park in her directorial debut as well as rising Gen-Z stars Maddie and Jenna, this movie is certainly going to be one to watch when it lands on HBO Max.

As for when and where we’ll get it here, that’s TBC, but usually like all HBO productions, we’ll receive it on either Sky or NOW TV. So fingers crossed we know more soon.

Sharing her love for Maddie, the star’s mom (and Dance Mom) Melissa Gisoni admitted that she cannot wait for the world to see “this powerful movie”, adding that she’s so proud “of these two girls”.

We look forward to hearing more!
