Did Nicola And Brooklyn Peltz Beckham Reference Their ‘Fued’ With David And Victoria Using Halloween Costumes?

In fair Los Angeles, where we lay our scene, as two households, both alike in dignity are apparently feuding and we might have just gotten a shady Halloween costume out of it. Even Shakespeare couldn’t have written this drama!

As we all know Nicola and Brooklyn Peltz Beckham have been the look of love since their wedding in April. But since then, they have also been plagued by rumours of rift between them and Brooklyn’s parents David and Victoria.

And now it seems the couple have referenced the reported feud, with their Halloween costumes. For TING Magazines’ Halloween party, the couple dressed up as Romeo and Juliette from Baz Luhrmann’s 1996 adaption, Romeo + Juliet.

Nicola donned a white dress with angel wings and a cross, like Claire Danes in the film, while Brooklyn channeled Leonardo Di Caprio’s Romeo in a suit of armour.

Now for the few out there who weren’t forced to read the Shakespearean play, Romeo and Juliette is notorious for a family feud and forbidden love… so is that a hint at something?

Well, it’s possible they just liked the film and the story, but it seems like David and Victoria do as well, seeing as Brooklyn’s younger brother is named Romeo. So it really seems like a reference to something.

They may have been poking fun at the rumours of a great feud between the newlyweds and their in-laws, or maybe they were embracing their status as star-crossed lovers, whose families don’t approve?

Either way, they both look brilliant!

Nicola has addressed their reported rift in the past, explaining how the rumours started with her wedding dress, when fans noticed she wasn’t wearing a Victoria Beckham design, believing that this had caused issues for the girls.

Setting the record straight, Nicola spoke candidly with Variety about her relationship with Victoria and the origins of their alleged ‘feud’.

“I was going to (wear a VB dress) and I really wanted to, and then a few months down the line, she realized that her atelier couldn’t do it, so then I had to pick another dress,” Nicola began.

“She didn’t say you can’t wear it; I didn’t say I didn’t want to wear it. That’s where it started, and then they ran with that.”

Continuing on, Nicola’s husband Brooklyn added to their conversation, letting readers know that all of the Peltz-Beckham family get along just fine.

“I’ve learned they’re always going to try to write stuff like that. They’re always going to try and put people down. But everyone gets along, which is good.” But rumours have persisted and gotten worse after the two couples were seen avoiding each other at Paris Fashion Week.
