Season 4 left viewers in a turmoil of emotions as Emily’s world was turned upside down. After a rocky season of love triangles, career shifts and unexpected betrayal Emily found herself accepting a new role at Agence Grateau’s Italian office.
We last left Emily settling into her new life in Rome, thriving professionally and romantically, involved with Marcello while Gabriel contemplates reaching out to her, setting the stage for possible conflict in the new season. So, what do we know about season 5?
Production has begun in Rome but is scheduled to move back to Paris later in the season, as Emily embarks on her new adventure in Italy while still having her connections to France.

Season 5 is expected to delve into Emily’s new role in Rome, where she is establishing Agence Grateau’s Italian office. Her relationship with Marcello is anticipated to develop further, teased by Collins, while unresolved feelings with Gabriel may resurface.
Collins announced the Season 5 news during an appearance on Good Morning America, and told Tudum she was looking forward to seeing what happens between her character and Franceschini’s character, Marcello.
“Marcello is a whole other adventure that we want for Emily because we ultimately want Emily to be able to have a better work/life balance, ” she says. “We want to have Emily be able to smile without condition. We want to see her beyond her vacay mode. And he comes at that perfect time. ”
It has been confirmed that Camille Razat, who portrayed Camille, will not be returning for Season 5. The actress announced her departure, stating that her character’s storyline had naturally concluded. Lucas Bravo, who plays Gabriel, has also expressed uncertainty about his return, citing dissatisfaction with his character’s development.
Rumours have also been swirling about a particular Sex And The City actress, Kim Cattrall, making a cameo in the fifth season of the show. In an interview with IMDb, Bravo admitted that he and several cast mates had been ‘manifesting’ for Cattrall to join the Emily in Paris team.
The countdown is officially on for season 5, and we could not be more excited!
