Emma Watson Has Addressed Those Engagement Rumours

It seems celebs are at little but getting married lately. Just today, we’ve had Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez secretly tie the knot, as well as This Is Us star Justin Hartley and Sofia Pernas secretly getting married too. It’s been a busy time. But one person who certainly isn’t getting married any time soon? Emma Watson.

There have been rumours floating about that Emma is engaged to Leo Robinton, a businessman from LA, ever since the pair were spotted kissing back in April of 2020.

Now after 10 months of Twitter silence, Emma took to the platform to make it clear that she’s in no way engaged.

“Dear Fans, Rumours about whether I’m engaged or not, or whether my career is ‘dormant or not’ are ways to create clicks each time they are revealed to be true or untrue,” Emma began.

“If I have news – I promise I’ll share it with you,” she continued, before updating fans on what she actually has been getting up to. “In the meantime please assume no news from me just means I’m quietly spending the pandemic the way most people are – failing to make sourdough bread (!), caring for my loved ones and doing my best not to spread a virus that is still affecting so many people.”

Before signing off, Emma then added, “I am sending so much love to you, hoping you’re ok and as well and happy as you can be in these strange times. And again, thank you to everyone working so hard to keep us safe and well.”

So there you have it, the pair aren’t engaged, but I can’t help but feel it’s good to know that Emma Watson is also not exactly skilled at making her own bread.
