First 5 Love Island Contestants Rumoured To Be Coming Back For Three-Part Special
The reunion has apparently sparked controversy among former stars of the hit ITV show.
I think I can speak for all of us when I say that Love Island was terribly missed from our social calendars this summer. On a normal summer we’d all rush home to make sure we’re sitting at the telly for 9pm, so on a summer when we’ve nothing to do but stay inside, it’s safe to say Love Island would have greatly helped the situation.
Now, don’t get me wrong, TV wasn’t all lost and we had Tiger King, Normal People and Selling Sunset to keep us tipping along, but you can’t beat the ol’ villa for some quality reality TV.
And so, you’ll be thrilled to know, the show is coming back for a three-part reunion special. Starring some of the biggest stars from the series over the past couple of years.
However, picking the stars that are to appear on the show has apparently caused a little “rift” among some of the Islanders who have felt “snubbed”, reports a source to The Sun.
“Unfortunately things have got a bit nasty between some. At first it was just going to be the finalists from each series, but once exceptions started being made it really sparked anger and resentment.”
According to the source, so far the confirmed stars look like Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury, 2019’s runner ups.

The special which is rumoured to be called Love Island: Where Are They Now? will look at life after the show, focusing on what the Islanders have since done and how the show has changed their lives.
Molly-Mae Hague often speaks about how incredible the show was for her, as an influencer previous to appearing on the show, and having found her now boyfriend on the series, Tommy Fury, we’re sure her presence will be a big one when the programme returns.
We’re already excited to see what goes down! Who would you like to see on the special?
