Here’s What Rosie Huntington-Whiteley Eats Every Day To Get That Killer Bod

Her lean limbs and glowing skin aren't all down to good genes. Her new diet plays a part too and it's not as strict you might think.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley

Top model, Victoria’s Secret angel and the face of M&S lingerie collection Rosie for Autograph, Rosie is one of our number one girl crushes at the moment, so naturally when we heard about the diet that, in her words, has her feeing better than ever, we had to find out what it entails.

Chatting to E! News, Rosie revealed that she’s following Dr. Nigma Talib’s Younger Skin Starts In The Gut plan.

“Right now I’m on Nigma’s plan, which is: no dairy, no gluten, no sugar and no alcohol!” she revealed. “And it’s been really tough, it is, there’s no doubt in my mind that once you start to see and feel results, it’s really been transformative for me. I can feel it in my skin, I can feel it in my body, I feel lean right now, and I feel strong and I feel energised.”

She continues, “I miss a lot of things. I miss a glass of wine, I miss my cheese plates, and I miss my croissants. But interestingly you can still eat so beautifully and so wholesome and you can really be still so satisfied through healthier choices. It’s just switching your mindset a little bit and it takes a couple of weeks to kind of adjust.”

So what foods are on the plan? Well, while dairy, gluten, sugar and alcohol are all definite no-gos, detoxifying veggies are certainly on the menu. In particular, Rosie eats a diet loaded with cauliflower, cabbage, broccoli, Brussel sprouts, kale, onions and avocado. She also adds flavour with herbs and spices like rosemary, sage, turmeric, garlic, thyme, and oregano.

Reckon that sounds super strict? It’s not all bad. In fact, Dr. Talib recommends only sticking to the diet 80 percent of the time, and dedicating 20 percent for indulgence, and it seems that works just perfectly for Rosie.

“The 80/20 rule is really, I find that that’s the way to go,” she says. “Enjoy life and, you know, celebrations! My kind of balance is trying to eat really well at home and then when I go out…I try and still make smart choices but you know, if I’m going to have some French fries, or if I’m going to share a pudding or a desert with somebody, you want to enjoy those things in life.”

We hear ya, Rosie.
