Insta Creep: Rosie Connolly Says She’s ‘In Awe’ Of Her Followers Donating Over €170k To Children’s Hospitals…

What all the celebs are up to on social, from A to Z listers.

In our gossip column, we indulge our nosiest desires and delve deep into what the celebs (and ‘celebs’) are doing on social media. Who’s tweeting and deleting? Who’s shady faving? Let’s find out.

Kim Kardashian says the Kardashian and Jenner families were never contacted or asked to do anything by the I’m A Celebrity team.

Viewers noted that few of Caitlyn Jenner’s kids or step-kids had publicly supported her during her time in the jungle – and felt sorry for her when there was no one there to greet her after she was eliminated last week.

However, her son Brandon told a fan on Instagram that no one from ITV had reached out to the family – but this might have been an attempt at crafting a ‘storyline’ for Caitlyn.

“It might have been a ‘storyline’ the producers wanted to fabricate in order to get more empathy for Caitlyn. That’s kind of how TV works.”

Oof. Kim backed up Brandon’s statement, saying no one from ITV had asked them for any letters or appearances either:

Kendall and Kylie did organise a nice little surprise for their dad upon her arrival home, so it’s not all bad.

Evidently the relationship between Caitlyn and her family is very complicated. Let’s hope they can patch things up soon.

Rosie Connolly’s fundraising for Temple Street and Crumlin Children’s Hospitals has now passed the €170k mark. And all in 24 hours!

On Monday evening, Rosie asked her followers to donate to the hospitals to be in with a chance of winning a Gucci handbag – what happened next was nothing short of a miracle.

Donations flooded in to the GoFundMe Rosie had set up for the giveaway, and while she hoped to reach €5k, the total quickly surpassed her initial target.

Thanking her followers for their generosity, the influencer said:

The last 24 hours have been a blur of emotion, admiration and awe… I always knew that the community I had built here over the last five years was one to be proud of, but my pride for you all has been taken to another level. My goal of €5k seems so small now but honestly, every single €5 donation is what has made this campaign the success it is.

Earlier on yesterday, Rosie revealed that she had spoken to staff and parents at the hospitals who were “thrilled” by the amount of money that had been raised. Fair play to you Rosie!

Lizzo wore a risqué dress to a basketball game, people had a problem with it, but she clapped back as she always does.

During the game, cheerleaders performed a routine to the singer’s hit Juice – the camera panned to Lizzo twerking courtside, showing off her black thong:

People were rude because it’s the internet and Lizzo is a proud black fat woman who has never shied away from embracing her body – which was exactly her response on Insta Stories later:

I’m a really solid, grounded person, and I know that I’m shocking because you’ve never seen – in a long time – a body like mine doing whatever it wants to do and dressing the way that it dresses and moving the way that it moves. I’m not going to shrink myself because somebody thinks that I’m not sexy to them.

Absolutely! PLEASE keep doing what you do, Lizzo.

And now it’s time for… #WilloughbyWatch

Charting the public’s obsession with what Holly Willoughby is wearing.

Everyone’s watching Holly Willoughby just that little bit more intently this week thanks to the rumours of rifts at ITV, but let’s look at the outfits she’s wearing while that’s all going on around her.

This morning, she’s wearing a checked skirt from Maje (currently on sale for €156) and a pearl-embellished jumper from high street favourite And Other Stories (which you can find here for €89). The skirt is going down a treat, though one follower has said it looks like “when a wee boy buttons his shirt up wrong”. Which isn’t incorrect.
