It Looks Like Love Island’s Ella And Tyrique Have Broken Up

Another one bites the dust.

It has been almost six months since Scottish model Ella and footballer Tyrique struck up their romance in the Love Island villa last Summer – and boy did they keep us on our toes!

After a few flare-ups and a lot of bickering, this passionate pair made their way through to the final, finishing in third place; and seemed to have been going strong ever since.

Unfortunately, it looks like their time as a couple is coming to an end.

Following their alleged short separation back in winter 2023 which was kept under the radar, Ty and Ella have again sparked rumours of an official break up.

What is it with February and breakups?!

According to a source of the Daily Mail Online, “Ella and Tyrique have decided it’s time to go their separate ways. They have such love for each other, but they often struggle to get along and as viewers saw in the villa, they’re always arguing.”

Neither have commented on the split yet, though Ella did post a story to her Instagram asking for “couriers/removals that can do a house move from Glasgow > London,” hinting that she’s moving onto a new phase of life.

In an interview with Capital Xtra, on December 1st, Tyrique revealed how the outside pressures and input from the public have put a huge strain on his and Ella’s relationship.

“Our relationship is between us, what goes on behind closed doors, it’s only us two,” he explained.

“A lot of people are involved in it. I think it’s definitely more difficult when a lot of people are involved in your relationship, especially when it’s your first one.”

The pair also appear to have removed each other on Instagram, so it may be safe to say that the love birds are over for good this time.

Hopefully, this is the last of our couples that will be wiped out by the annual Spring clean of love.
