It has been reported that YouTuber Jake Paul’s Calabasas home has been raided by the FBI. It’s believed that a SWAT team entered the property yesterday, the 5th of August, however, the reason for the raid is still unknown.

TMZ has reported: “Jake’s house in Calabasas is currently being searched by the feds — and that a search warrant has been issued to do so. We don’t know why or what the authorities are looking for, but we do know agents are on the ground, taking a look around.”

Jake’s house raid is reportedly in connection with an investigation, however, it is again still unknown if Jake is in immediate connection with the investigation. A spokesperson for the FBI shed a little more light on the situation, telling the press:

“The FBI is executing a federal search warrant at a residence in Calabasas in connection with an ongoing investigation. The affidavit in support of the search warrant has been sealed by a judge and I am, therefore, prohibited from commenting as to the nature of the investigation.”

We do know that Jake and his home has recently been in the news for all the wrong reasons, with him throwing huge house parties with little to no social distancing in place. Jake’s irresponsible behaviour even came under fire with the Mayor of Calabasas, who said that she will ensure something like Jake’s most recent party doesn’t happen again.

Whether or not Jake’s excessive partying is the reason for his house search, we’re not sure yet.

The SWAT team has reportedly left Jake’s property, but the investigation behind the raid is still ongoing.
