Can you believe it has been one year since we were served the piping hot tea we now refer to as the Wagatha Christie scandal.

One year since we were all stuck to our phones watching the drama and most importantly, the memes flood in online.

Yep, a whole 365 days have past since the news broke and Coleen Rooney uploaded her note to Instagram, a note showcasing her detective work and accusing Rebekah Vardy’s ACCOUNT of leaking stories about her to the press.

To briefly rehash on what happened, basically, Coleen got a suspicious feeling that someone was telling the press tales about her and so, started posting false information about herself to her Instagram Stories, blocking all her friends expect for one account – Rebekah Vardy’s.

Low and behold, the stories apparently still got out and so, Colleen was certain it had to be Rebekah’s account leaking the intel.

Now, a year later, the case is still ongoing, Rebekah has denied all claims, and apparently, Coleen is now ready to end the battle which is set for the High Court, as she’s tired of fighting.

According to sources who spoke to the Mail Online, apparently Coleen wants to know end the dispute privately, and as Rebekah is set to take part on Dancing On Ice, reportedly vowing to clear her name, Coleen could be fearful of what’s to come; even one year on.

It is believed that Coleen and Rebekah will go face-to-face this November where they will retell what has gone down with the judge.

Marking the anniversary online, fans took to Twitter to share some posts.

But in all seriousness, we cannot believe this is scandal is one year old; 2020, you’ve been some ride.
