‘It’s To Keep My Family Safe’ Prince Harry Addresses Use Of Private Jet

Prince Harry has spoken out about his use of private jets for the first time since he and his family faced critism last month.

Harry was speaking at the launch of an eco-friendly tourism initiative in Amsterdam where he explained that ‘no one is perfect’.

When asked about his own travel choices, the new dad explained that he sometimes uses private jet for safety when travelling with wife Meghan Markle and their baby Archie.

“I came here by commercial. I spend 99% of my life travelling the world by commercial,” he said.

“Occasionally there needs to be an opportunity based on a unique circumstance to ensure that my family are safe – it’s generally as simple as that.”

He added that “we can all do better” and spoke about the importance of ‘balance’.

“It is about balance, and if I have to do that [fly via private jet]… then I will ensure, as I have done previously and I will continue to make sure that I do, to balance out that impact that I have.
